After receiving a VERY thorough and professional market analysis and discussing strategies for pricing/marketing our property in San Marcos, we chose to list with Drew and Jordyn Davis of Swell Property. It should be noted that we live three hours away from the subject property, which has been a rental for many years. Therefore, it was essential that we chose to be represented by the very best and most trustworthy agents we could find. The results would suggest we did just that! The property, while in a good location and having good “bones” was understandably “tired” having been a rental for so long. Drew and Jordyn did a comprehensive assessment of the condition and made design and renovation recommendations keeping a very close eye on our limited budget. Again, being “absentee” owners, it was left to Jordyn to make determinations on just what renovations, paint colors, new fixtures, flooring, staging, etc. etc. Before proceeding, she ran it all by us for approval and I don’t think we made one change. This was all made possible by the most timely and professional communication. All I can say is that when we saw the pictures of the finished product, we couldn’t believe it was the same place! Result?? The first weekend on the market we had numerous showings and three offers…one of which we accepted. There is NO doubt in our minds that the presentation of the property with all the design/staging touches along with the recommended renovations, resulted not only in a very fast sale, but in a price over asking and over our expectations. I’ve heard it said…”now that we are in escrow, we are 20% of the way there!” I know this to be true from past experience. However, in this case, because of Drew and Jordyn’s phenomenal communication, our escrow proceeded smoothly all the way to close. Bottom line….we feel that Drew and Jordyn put OUR best interests before their own every step of the way.
